Oh the deliciousness that was this baby! She smelled so darn good. And she was adorable...and feisty. ;) Sometimes babies surprise me with how feisty they can really be!
This baby nursed nonstop. Mom took it in stride and we got a lot of great nursing shots out of it.
This hat had been worn by both of her older sisters, it was really great to be able to use in in our session!
I was able to do this session in Mom and Dad's home, something that is extra special because I get a chance to capture you in your true environment. And capture bits and pieces of meaningful things in your home. Baby girl was much more comfortable being held by mom and just cuddling with her, so we went with it. Mom created this awesome reading corner for her girls based on an idea she saw on Pinterest (yay Pinterest!). It was such a welcoming spot!
I wanted to do part of the session in the nursery. Mom had told me prior to the session that the nursery was extra special to her. It was sealed off and her friends designed the entire room in secret. She wasn't allowed to see it until after her baby girl was born. I knew we had to do shots in there, and it did not disappoint. Probably my favorite nursery I've seen to date! Everything was beautiful.
These shots with Dad really warm my heart. There's so much tenderness there! I admit, I'm a huge sucker for babies with their Daddies. :)
Thank you so much again Mom and Dad for inviting me into your home to be a part of making memories for you! Your little girl is beautiful, and with 3 daughters myself I can say with confidence - Dad you'd better get your "boy-beatin' stick" ready ;)
