Now that summer's coming to an end, I've really wanted to capture all of those beautiful plants we see in bloom. I don't typically shoot things of the non-human variety, but it was fun challenging myself with something new.


It's exciting to get to process these images in a different way than I would those with people in them. I can be a bit more creative with colors and tones and contrast. Stems and leaves don't mind being a slightly different shade than they look in real life!
