I had my very first newborn shoot recently. This little one was nearly 2 weeks old already and preferred to be wide awake! I recommend that newborn sessions be held up to 2 weeks of age, though the younger the better. They're still so bendy and sleepy right after birth. This little one did not appreciate being wrapped up, or positioned in cute bendy ways. So we made do with what she did like!
