Ashley + David = Married! | Virginia Fine Art & Wedding Photographer

Those of you that know me know that I don't typically do weddings.  Especially weddings that I'm actually IN.  But how could I resist not taking some pictures of my little sister's wedding?  The best part was that I got to shoot what I wanted to shoot, as I wanted to shoot it and still be involved as a bridesmaid.  She looked beautiful and he only had eyes for her.  My heart is so happy for them!

Getting ready is where all of the fun happens.  

I couldn't resist this.  She's got a pretty sensitive scalp, but still found a way to make it fun. :)

Still has her sense of humor.  :)  This was the last play time we got before crunch time came. 

You're going to have to imagine a simple yet sweet and love filled ceremony, it's not quite customary for a bridesmaid to be snapping pictures while the ceremony is in progress.  :)  I did get them alone afterwards, which is my other favorite part! 

Congratulations you two!  I wish you the happiest of years to come.  Love you both.

Last installment of the wedding - phew! I'm not used to posts this big! But there were so many I enjoyed, it was really hard to narrow it down.

The ceremony | Frederick, Maryland Wedding Photographer

Part two of the wedding I did, thank you for being patient! These take a lot longer to edit than a normal session.

As you can see, Kristin looked absolutely radiant on her wedding day, as every bride should! And Christopher looked very handsome in his Navy whites. The ceremony went beautifully, and the joy on their faces was so amazing to witness. I love weddings. :)

This necklace was special to her, it belonged to another family member.




Personal favorite. She was so nervous before the ceremony, but all of that melted away once she was with her beloved. :)


While everyone else is getting started with the festivities, the minister stays behind to fill out the marriage license. I love this shot.
